AC & Cooling

Have questions? We have answers. Can't find what you need? Call (949) 236-1557

Most AC repairs run between $150 and $600 depending on the problem. A bad capacitor is on the low end. A compressor replacement is on the higher end. We give you the exact price before starting any work — no surprise bills.

The three most common causes: low refrigerant, a dirty air filter, or a failing compressor. Start by checking your filter — if it looks clogged, swap it out and wait 30 minutes. Still warm? Call us. It probably needs a technician.

Most AC units last 15 to 20 years here. Sacramento summers are tough on equipment. If yours is over 15 and needing frequent repairs, a new system usually makes more financial sense. We can look at your unit and tell you honestly which way to go.

Yes. Mini-splits are a great option for rooms without ductwork, garage conversions, and home additions. They are very energy-efficient too. We install, repair, and maintain all major mini-split brands.

Heating

Once a year, ideally in the fall before you start running it every day. A tune-up catches small problems before they turn into a breakdown on the coldest night of the year. We clean the burners, check the heat exchanger, and test all safety controls.

Usually it is a dirty flame sensor, a clogged filter, or a thermostat issue. The flame sensor is the most common culprit — the furnace lights, runs for a few minutes, then shuts down. This is a quick fix for a technician. We can usually get it sorted fast.

A heat pump heats and cools your home with one system. It works like an AC in reverse during winter. In Sacramento's mild climate, heat pumps are very efficient and can cut your energy bills significantly. We can help you figure out if one makes sense for your home.

If your furnace is over 20 years old, needs repairs more than once a year, or your energy bills keep climbing, it is probably time. Newer furnaces are 95%+ efficient compared to 60-80% on older models. That difference shows up on your gas bill every month.

Pricing & Scheduling

Have questions? We have answers. Can't find what you need? Call (949) 236-1557

We charge a service call fee that covers the trip and diagnosis. If you move forward with the repair, that fee gets applied toward the total cost — so you are not paying double. We tell you the full price before we touch anything.

Yes. We offer financing options for larger jobs like full system replacements and new installations. A new HVAC system is a big purchase. We can go over financing details during your free estimate so you know your options upfront.

For most service calls, we work to get you on the schedule as quickly as possible. For emergencies — no heat in winter, no AC during a Sacramento heat wave — we prioritize the call and dispatch as fast as possible, including nights and weekends. Call (949) 236-1557 and we will get you on the schedule.

We service all major brands: Carrier, Lennox, Trane, Goodman, Rheem, Daikin, Bryant, York, and more. If it heats or cools your home, we can fix it. For new installations we standardize on American Standard systems, with Mitsubishi for ductless mini-splits, so every install is equipment we know inside and out.
